Interview with Elvira Vintage Founders - London

Elvira Vintage is an online vintage boutique that offers a carefully edited collection of internationally sourced vintage clothing and accessories by high end designers including Celine, Dior, Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent, to name a few. Founders of Elvira Vintage, Tori Steinberg and Sophie Scrimgeour, noticed that vintage clothing shops in London are scarcely edited, and decided to fill the gap with carefully selected vintage available to a broader market. Here’s an interview with the founders:


Carol Lozito is a lover of all things, but mostly animals. The former book illustrator, who hails from an entire family legacy of working in advertising is a contemporary artist with a cause behind the canvass.   Lozito says she has always had a love for animals, even as a child. Also a young age, Carol began to paint and learn color and texture. This later led her to attend The School of Visual Arts in New York City and then The Academy of Art in San Francisco.

Dancing with the Camera: Luca Artioli

Luca Artioli is an Italian contemporary photographer and poet recognized all over the world. This interview reveals aspects of his past work and insights on his inspirations and technique. 1. You are Italian, but you live and work in Miami. Why did you choose to come and live in the USA? I think that my soul needed different colors to inspire my life. The winters in Milan are always cold, grey and long.

  1. Somehow you are no longer able to paint or do anything art-related, how would you express yourself creatively? I’m not sure, maybe I would try and focus on music making, always find it therapeutic to mess around with musical instruments.
  2. What other interests do you have outside of art? I find myself reading up on science related issues all the time. Very depressing. I also tinker around on a guitar and skateboard from time to time, but never at the same time.

7 Questions: Danny Roberts

Danny Roberts is a professional illustrator, photographer, and graphic designer based in Southern California. He attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo majoring in photography, and completed his studies at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco to study Fashion Illustration. His dreamy illustrations usually have a fashion related slant and he’s been featured in publications including New York Times, Elle, Women’s Wear Daily as well as a collaboration with Gwen Stefani for her Harajuku Lovers line.

Made of Stone - Interview with Helena Gullström

Helena Gullström was born and raised in Sunne, Sweden, a small town in the western part of the country. She currently resides in Los Angeles. With painting and drawing being an important part of her life, she began serious study with Franklin Liegel at the Otis Parsons School of Art Design in Los Angeles. Currently, Gullström is working on a series of sculptures and paintings made out of concrete and mixed media.

1: If you weren’t an artist what would you be? Hedge fund manager. 2: How would you describe yourself in two words? Brilliant. Faultless. 3: Who is your favorite artist of all time? Captain Beefheart AKA Don Van Vliet 4: What’s your idea of misery? Living someone else’s life or dream. 5: What’s your greatest extravagance? The gold statue I have of myself suspended from the ceiling above my bed.
