Big props to Dyson for helping out animals in need. With much of the country immersed in a heat wave, humans aren’t the only ones who can’t take the heat. The summer can be a tough season for pets, too. To help keep the most at-risk animals cool this summer, Dyson teamed up with the ASPCA® (The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals®) to donate Air Multiplier™ fans to several animal shelters around the country – many in underserved areas.

My dad liked it and took a picture of it and then included it in his portfolio that he would show to clients (Dad was a decorative painter/ faux finisher).

Liana Yaroslavsky’s Charming French Atelier

Liana fondly refers to her atelier as her “little nest.” High ceilings, white walls and parquet flooring the color of honey create a haven where she can escape and tend to her creations undisturbed. Only the sun peaks in through large windows, its rays reflecting off of floor-length mirrors and elegant crystal chandeliers that bathe the atelier in peace, clarity and light. The spacious, 105m² workspace also doubles as Liana’s showroom where admirers and the curious can gather to view her exclusive table creations.

Interior Designer, Broosk Saib

London based interior designer Broosk Saib was born in Baghdad, but his Kurdish family left in the 1970’s when he was a teenager, moving him from a world of blue mosques and ancient buildings to a traditional English environment. These two strong visual influences are seen in his designs which marry contrasting textures and rich finishes with traditional English lines. He mixes this with an appreciation of the textiles, colors, antiques, fragrances, quirky details and serendipitous market discoveries gleaned from his many travels abroad.
