  Guest Urban Hotel is a boutique hotel located in a renovated 1960’s house in the bohemian / hipster Pinheiros neighborhood; defining it welcoming would be an understatement with its always smiling and helpful staff, the vintage furniture, unassuming but perfectly curated art gallery in the lobby and homey breakfast in the garden. The rooms are cozy,decorated in a NYC loft style (Soho circa early ‘90) with comfy bed and impeccable wifi and the service for the visiting tourist is amazingly well thought : tablets and cellphones are available for rent (European and US phone usually don’t work in South America or cost an eye and a leg per minute), information regarding what’s going on in town , bikes for rent , public transport cards and a very good eye for everything off the beaten track.

Founded 58 years ago in Sao Paulo , Rubaiyat Group finally arrived in the Cidade Maravilhosa by the capable hands of Belarmino Iglesias Filho in 2014. A sprawling 1400 square meters impeccably decorated in a very appropriate lavish / rustic way located on the stunning grounds of the charming Jockey Club in the plush Jardim Botanico neighborhood overlooked by the Christ the Redeemer. Even with its wide selecton of fishes that range from ripe and delicious oysters to octopus ceviche it’s almost impossible to pass on the mouth watering meat from the cattle bred of Fazenda Rubaiyat, in Dourados (Mato Grosso do Sul).

On Aug 21st, 2015, Munchery and Roy Choi announced the pleasure of hosting a free foodie event extravaganza at the Line Hotel in Koreatown, Los Angeles, California. The two new Munchery and Roy Choi dishes are Kimchi Pork Belly Fried Vice and Cheezy Short Rib Instant Ramen. These are two unique dishes that are quite personal to Roy inspired by his Korean roots. A few years ago, I was lucky enough to try the Kogi food truck.

  The cool american kid just conquered Milan and is spicing things up in the beautiful but sometimes too quiet town. Located inside the brand new ME Milan Il Duca, STK is all about flattering dim lights, loungelike decòr, friendly yet professional service combined with delicious food (mouth watering meat as well as tasty fish and much more). The “soundtrack” tailor made by the uber dj Sam Young, the superb drinks and impressive wine list attract a designer clad, international crowd on a nightly basis.

Runaway Festival 2015 Los Globos, Silverlake, CA Runaway Festival 2015 was an amazing DIY festival organized by Danger Collective and some great minds of Echo Park. The highlights were heavy hitters Retox with members of the Locust and many more bands. Retox rocked out with Justin Pearson’s intense vocals and theatrics. No Age were also awesome and have a big sound for a 2 piece band. They have some great songs and bring a great energy to the crowd.

Super spaced out and heavy, psychedelic rock band White Hills are performing at my favorite Los Angeles venue called the Echo in Echo Park, Los Angeles, California tonight June 18th, 2015. New York City’s White Hills are going to transform you into another dimension with their amazing live show in support of their new album “Walks for Motorists.” Come one, come all to witness modern psychedelia’s best with heavy, distorted riffs, lasers, and a trip to another galaxy.

The gorgeous residence of the DollFace Girls and Boys. Since both women and men visit to get pampered… Too many flights, too little sleep and weird eating habits on even weirder times of day and or night. Result: My skin begins to look dull and tired even though I am pretty anal about my products and skin care routine. What to do?: Aside from drinking tons of clean water and trying to catch up on sleep when I can, I like to find the best spa in the current city I’m visiting.

There are very few things quite as enjoyable as being able to travel to see some of the world’s greatest shows, and with the increased popularity of live theatre shows, some beautiful auditoriums and amphitheatres have been erected all over the world. Many of these theatres have been built within the grounds of casinos as well. With the rapid growth of online gambling, casinos now find themselves struggling to keep the attention of former patrons, as well as appeal to wider audiences, especially as online casinos have begun to encroach on their territory.

A workout that feels like you are at the night club with your friends partying. But instead of getting drunk, you get a six pack. My job takes me around the world and back many times a year. It’s awesome, and I feel blessed and enriched to get all these experiences. But while ‘living the dream’ traveling the planet, I find myself getting messed up on a few accounts.
