The Beverly Hills Hotel - Beverly Hills
1 min
Check in and let the fairy tale begin... The Beverly Hills Hotel.  Walking up the red carpeted entrance into the Pink Palace's lobby instantly exudes excitement and sense of nostalgia, creating a feeling of something to anticipate.  I stood in the middle of it for a while- to try and take in all the history.  Upon checking in the front desk staff was extremely friendly, efficient and helpful.  The vibe was "We are lucky to have you here" unlike certain other luxury hotels in Beverly Hills' that seem to say without words "You're lucky to be here".  They ordered the luggage to be carried to the room, placed the room key in my hand, and escorted me to my room.

The room I stayed in was huge.  There were sliding glass doors leading to a large garden patio -perfect for a little get-together with friends. The decor is very ‘pink’ and stays in the tradition of the rest of the palace with a bit of a Barbie doll-like character,  but still very tasteful. The mini bar was temptingly stocked with munchies, beverages and some beauty supplies. I could have basked in this luxury forever, but opted to take advantage of the most beautiful sundown Beverly Hills has ever seen with a quick dip in the pool.

The pool at The Beverly Hills Hotel is a sight to behold in itself. Since the hotel is located right smack dab in the middle of Beverly Hills and all of it’s lush greenery, it truly seems like the skies are bluer over the hotel.  The pool itself has seen many of Hollywood elite -past and present come and go you can easily imagine Marilyn Monroe or Natalie Wood basking in the sun at this very same pool.  As the sun said good-bye to the city, I ordered a Pina Colada and soaked it all in.  Heaven in Beverly Hills.

With the rumble in my belly telling me dinner time was approaching I bid adieu to the lovely, iconic pool.  Parting is such sweet sorrow!  Next, I headed downs to the hotel’s classic eatery, The Polo Lounge.  The place where some of my favorite movies have been filmed.  A more detailed review of the Polo Lounge can be found here:

After a wonderful dinner, I headed back to my suite.  The bed was so comfortable that I didn’t want to get out of it the next morning. I sadly gathered my belongings and
