You are invited to attend the premiere of the first CLOSET VISIT movie at The Standard, Downtown LA on Tuesday, April 26th from 7:30 – 9:30pm.Closetvisit.com, the blog of LA-based artist and photographer Jeana Sohn, is a chronicle of the closets of chic Los Angeles women. Sohn’s lenses seek out women with an aesthetic that mixes Bohemia and Hollywood glam to create a story of beauty, confidence and effortlessness. “It not only indulges the audience's voyeuristic impulses, it also satisfies the subject's ageless feminine desire to play dress-up” says Steffie Nelson of The Los Angeles Times of Closet Visit.

This screening marks the first of a number of screenings to be hosted and curated by local tastemakers at The Standard, Downtown LA.

The goal of Closet Visit was to bring the clothes to life. It’s as much a story about the girl (Stella) as it is a story about her style. Stella is a beautiful, smart, talented, charming girl and a love story seemed fitting. It’s a very simple, timeless story. The one where boy meets girl and they’ve fallen in love. The film is a glimpse into their relationship with the classic LA as a backdrop and, of course, a gorgeous wardrobe.

This is the first in a series of closet visit films. Each is meant to capture the essence of a closet visit star. This one is all about vintage - the clothes, the locations, the boy and Stella all reinforce that aesthetic. Next up is romantic
