I entered a completely different universe when I stepped in at The Mandarin Oriental Hotels Spa. I left the hectic city when I hung up my trench coat in the womens locker area and donned a fluffy bathrobe and a pair of comfortable slippers. I was hereby ready to get re-balanced. I had been looking forward to a one-hour back massage that was meant to put an end to tensions after quite a lot of traveling. I was led to one of the treatment rooms and the massage was superb. The combination of a very professional message therapist and an excellent product line made this treatment very unique. The massage therapist had a great knowledge and she really made my experience personal with custom-blended essential oils and an understanding of my personal requests and expectations.

I spent some time in the separate women’s area both before and after the treatment, where the Jacuzzi especially impressed me – my last worries bubbled away while the water softly wrapped around my body and warmed up every muscle. The surroundings were very calm and the place inspired me a lot. I left the Mandarin Oriental Hotel with renewed energy and was really happy with the holistic results because I left feeling that they had succeeded with their attempt to treat both the mind and the body.
